Overview of the mathematics programme
The focus of the mathematics programme is two fold:
- To build a block level community of teachers who engage with technology in mathematics teaching learning
- To work with Class 8-9 students and focus on improving mathematics learning outcomes
- To develop a bridge course for mathematics teaching learning for Class 8 students and work with this cohort for 3 years; extend the programme into Class 9 and 10 as relevant
- To introduce technology tools for teaching mathematics for Class 8 and 9 students as relevant - Turtle Art and Geogebra
- To attempt to address key learning gaos in mathematics learning and how technology can help support this
