Teacher Education Programmes

Program for 2014-15
The 2014-15 STF-KOER programme is as follows (click here for district target for STF and HTF) :

  1. State MRP workshops followed by district cascade workshops for Mathematics in ICT Phase 3 schools in all 34 districts. Click here for Mathematics district cascade workshops.
  2. State MRP workshops followed by district cascade workshops for Kannada in select TEN districts for all schools. Click here for Kannada district cascade workshops
  3. State MRP workshops followed by district cascade workshops for HTF in select SIX districts for all schools. Click here for HTF district cascade workshops.

Education News

The Centre has decided to slash its share of funds in about 18 social sector schemes including flagship education programme Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA). The central government and states would contribute equally for programmes such as SSA, Rashtriya Uchchtar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) and Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA), a departure from the previous 65%-35% formula.
