Qualitative Improvement of Cluster-level Meetings

The above mentioned project is implemented at Manvi-cluster,Manvi Taluk,Raichur district with a team of 2CRP's and 1BRP. During the second phase of project scoping, the team members are exposed for detailed discussion which includes all the processes,various factors which enhance the qualityimprovement of the cluster level meetings. Out of three team members one CRP gave an important suggestion according to which a well selected team of 12 teachers and Head masters are called for a meeting w ith the primary intention to gather the personel openions of each team member a bout the present status of the training. In the same meeting CRP's of other three clusters are invited to give valuable suggestions to improve the quality of CLM. The significance of this project -If we can have a systematic dialogue with all the teachers and HM's ,many of the school problems be which include both acodemic and administrative can be solved which inturn have a positive impact on theee quality of education in general. The athter significance of this project involves modification of the minds of the teahers and headmasters.

 

Out of three participants one CRP wholeheartedly participated in the programme. The other two members did not get involved fully. On account of this the CRP took guidance from the mDFs and implemented the project.

 

The physical structure of the CRC was developed. At the same time he was asking the teachers to fill in a questionnnaire before each cluster level meeting. He would share these with the resource persons who were carefully selected. Team of four teachers was set up in order to look after the logistics arrangements. The resource persons were called two days before the cluster level meeting in order to implement the project. He had shared with the resource persons on various fields to be improved.

 

Impact of the project on CLM:

  • the logistic factors like providing food,water,proper space,stationaries etc are given due importance.

  • Punctuality has been improved among the teachers.

  • Proper agenda was sent to schools earlier which was not found in the earlier CLM's.
