A total of 18 DIET and CTE faculty were a part of the workshop for 5 days at the DIET Gulbarga at Kamalapur.

Over a period of five days the participants covered various web applications; free software tools and components of basic computer literacy. Software tools such as Ubuntu, LibreOffice and Record My Desktop were demonstrated. The participants were encouraged to work on their subjects of expertise and access resources. Resources created by faculty were reviewed through offline discussions and e-mails. Teachers were also introduced to Wiki and the idea of collaborative resource creation. The focus was also on building basic computer and Internet skills of participants.
