Objectives

  1. Introducing Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) to the Student-teachers / ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂವಹನ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನಗಳ (ICT) ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸುವುದು
  2. Introducing student-teachers to different FOSS tools and OER resources to create learning/classroom resources / ತರಗತಿಯ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲಗಳನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಲು ವಿವಿಧ FOSS ಪರಿಕರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು OER ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸುವುದು.
  3. Introducing students-teachers to FOSS based audio-visual creation tools to create learning resources / ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲಗಳನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಲು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು FOSS ಆಧಾರಿತ ಆಡಿಯೋ-ದೃಶ್ಯ ರಚನೆ ಸಾಧನಗಳಿಗೆ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸುವುದು
  4. Build the computer literacy skills for student-teachers / ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಸಾಕ್ಷರತಾ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಮಾಡುವುದು

Interacting with ICT(MOBILE BATCH) - Free and open source application repository

- Managing the files on phone

Connecting and Learning(SYSTEM BATCH) - Interacting with ICT – Understanding GDL, Creating a PDL on selected topic

- Bookmarking the pages

- Exploring the web : Browsing and downloading the various content

- Introduction to Open Educational Resources (OER)

- Exploring OER websites (Wiki sites)

- Saving the webpage – PDF, HTML, screenshot

Creating with ICT : Concept Mapping – 1(SYSTEM BATCH) - Why concept mapping?

- Role of thinking, documenting, presenting in education

- Having a demo on some topic

- Creating a map on selected topic- Inserting nodes, moving nodes, Hyper linking files and web links

Cyber security awareness(Mobile batch) - Open discussion on cyber issues that we face in day-to-day life

Day 4
Creating with ICT : Concept Mapping – 2

Creating the presentation(SYSTEM BATCH)

- Adding notes and note window, images, connecting nodes

- Saving and exporting the map in various formats.

- Using Artificial Intelligence processing the information and creating the text for the presentation

- Working with text features, alignment, using font works, importance of view menu
