Objectives:

- To identify physical and chemical changes
- To identify and classify changes around us as Physical and chemical changes
Materials required:
Papers, scissor, candles, dough, clay, pen, Story: What can be reversed?

Process:
- Demonstrate burning of paper, crushing paper,cutting paper, burning of a candle and molding of clay into different shapes. ask children to observe and record whether there was change in appearance? new product formed? reversible or irreversible for each of the reactions.
- Read the story 'What can be reversed?' for children. Ask children to list the reversible and irreversible changes mentioned in the story. (help children to identify the changes if needed).
- Let children record their ideas about the changes listed in the story on the worksheet as per the details provided to identify and classify the changes as physical and chemical changes.
