Activity No # 1 - Observation of cell
==Estimated Time== - 30 minutes
Materials/ Resources needed
A compound microscope,an onion,glass slide,phenopthalien,watch glass etc.
Prerequisites/Instructions, if any
Students are asked to keenly observe the slide and note the distinct parts seen.

Process (How to do the activity)
- Peel 2 to 3 pieces of skin of an onion and place it in 3 different glass slides.
- Add a drop of water and a drop of phenopthalien on the materials and slowly cover the watch glass on the material.
- Mount the slide on the microscope and observe the better slide among the three.
- Observations written in an organized format - aim of the experiment, method and questions below are to be answered in the observation
