On the occasion of Halloween, celebrated in a number of countries every year on October 31st, , the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, NASA has released a compilation of radio emissions recordings from space dating back to 1996. Though there is no atmosphere or any other medium to carry sound waves in the vacuum of space, some spacecraft instruments are able to capture radio emissions from bodies in the solar system.
