Non-digital : paper, pencil, ruler, protractor, compass

Process (How to do the activity)

Procedure:

  1. What are Parallel Lines?
  2. How can you tell that lines are parallel?
  3. Two lines ‘i’ and ‘h’ are parallel to each other
  4. Identify parallel lines which do not have a common meeting point in the same plane
  5. Identify parallel lines do not intersect if extended till infinite in both the directions.
  6. Measure the distance between the lines and identify the equidistance (move point 'G') between the parallel lines
  7. Students will use sticks or straws to create parallel line segments. They will prove the line segments are parallel by measuring the distance between the line segments.
