Objectives

- Using spreadsheet for planning and scheduling classroom lesson transactions
- Using spreadsheet for tracking and analysing student grades and progress
- Using Google forms for collecting, consolidating and analysing students/school related data

3 | Using Spreadsheet for different task | 1. Introduction to spreadsheets, navigating and interfaces. Cells (data element), rows (records), columns, adding and deleting sheets, file saving.
2. Entering your data in a spreadsheet. 3. Providing headings (columns), formatting rows and columns(Text styles, colours, cell background, and border etc,), types of data (text, numbers and their format, date and its format), working with alignment and text wrap. 4. Adding line breaks, Merging cells, auto fill(1,2,3,....), duplicating data 5. Sorting, filtering your entered data, 6. Using basic formulas - sum, count, average, percentage 7. Creating a visual representation of data 8. Exporting - pdf and image format. 9. Installing Google Sheets(.llc) on the teacher's mobile phones following that hands-on practice. |
