Process (How to do the activity)
- Peel 2 to 3 pieces of skin of an onion and place it in 3 different glass slides.
- Add a drop of water and a drop of phenopthalien on the materials and slowly cover the watch glass on the material.
- Mount the slide on the microscope and observe the better slide among the three.
- Observations written in an organized format - aim of the experiment, method and questions below are to be answered in the observation
Developmental Questions (What discussion questions)
- What is the shape of the cells you observed?
- Name the distinct parts you observed ?
