Objectives
Students will be able to identify parallel and intersecting lines.

Prerequisites/Instructions, prior preparations, if any
Knowledge about line, line segment
Materials/ Resources needed

Non-digital : paper, pencil, ruler, protractor, compass
Process (How to do the activity)

Procedure:
- What are Parallel Lines?
- How can you tell that lines are parallel?
- Two lines ‘i’ and ‘h’ are parallel to each other
- Identify parallel lines which do not have a common meeting point in the same plane
- Identify parallel lines do not intersect if extended till infinite in both the directions.
- Measure the distance between the lines and identify the equidistance (move point 'G') between the parallel lines
- Students will use sticks or straws to create parallel line segments. They will prove the line segments are parallel by measuring the distance between the line segments.
- What are intersecting lines?
- Identify intersecting lines (two or more) meet only at one point always and also can cross each other at common vertex (which is the point of intersection).
