=What is the Internet=
[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet Internet] is the network of computers across the world. Information flows across this network in digital (binary) format, using the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_protocol_suite TCP-IP protocols]. To explain in a simple manner, TCP-IP protocol is the method by which information is split into packets which are relayed from the source computer to the destination computer using different paths, as would make the transfer quick. The [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_Name_System Domain Name System] (DNS), along with the routers (hardware) plays the role of the traffic controller, to move these packets from source to destination.
