Activity - Calculation of simple probability

Process (How to do the activity)
- Divide class into three activities. Children into groups of 2/3 but different groups.
- Experiments include:
- tossing a coin and recording the results
- pulling out a red/ green/ blue pencil from a collection of colour pencils
- rolling a dice and record the number of times each number comes up
Developmental Questions (What discussion questions)
- Make the table for each of the activities as given on Page 94
- Make the connection between event and the number of times it occurs
- Discuss the example 2 on Page 95
Evaluation (Questions for assessment of the child)
Modify/ orally ask the questions on Page 92 (English text book)
