Process:
Part 1 :
The ‘Pick and Speak’ activity is planned to assess speaking abilities of an individual child where they had to identify and describe the specific object which they come across in their daily life.
Each child was asked to select any number among 12 numbers from the tab. They had to open the image and identify the object, if the child was able to identify the object we would ask them to describe about that object both in English and Kannada. During assessment these terms were considered that, the child is able to identify the object and try to describe in words but not complete sentence,or a child is able to tell few sentences with minor errors or able to describe the object correctly without any mistake and hesitation.
Part 2 (only Kannada) : When first round was completed the child was made to move to round 2 where some questions were recorded in the tab about their life experiences. the child had to select the question number and listen to that question. Later the child was asked to

2. ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಬರುವ ಮೊದಲು ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಲೆಯಿಂದ ಹೋದ ನಂತರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಏನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀರಿ?
3. ನೀವು ಇಷ್ಟಪಡುವ ಆಟ ಯಾವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಅದನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಆಡುವುದು/ಆಡುತ್ತೀರಾ?

5. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆತ್ಮೀಯಾ ಗೆಳೆಯ/ ಗೆಳತಿ ಯಾರು ? ಅವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಯಾಕೆ ಇಷ್ಟ?
6. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ?
7. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಿದೆಯೇ? ಏಕೆ ಅಥವಾ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಏನು ಇಷ್ಟ ?ಏಕೆ
8. ನೀವು ಇಷ್ಟಪಡುವ ಹಬ್ಬ ಯಾವುದು ? ಅದನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ?
