- Using office apps - LO Writer, Impress and Calc
- Advanced LO Writer - record changes, spell check, bullets/numbering, multi language input
- Using mail client - Thunderbird with Lightning, organizing mails through tags, folders, filters, etc.,.
- Using browser - tabs, bookmarks, etc.,.
- Using basic tools - screenshot, pdf-shuffler, notes, disks, files/folders(nautilus) etc.,.
- Battery management - using tlp/powertop
- Laptop upkeep - auto backup using grsync, Déjà Dup, etc.,.
