Process (How to do the activity)

  1. Click on proton and move it to the center of atom.
  2. Click on neutron and move it to the center of atom.
  3. Click on electron and distribute it to the orbits.
  4. Click on element name box to know the name of the element.
  5. Click on neutral/ion box to know whether the atom is neutral/ion.
  6. Click on stable/unstable box to know whether the atom is stable/unstable .
  7. Click on model options to see the structure of the entire atom.
  8. To know the mass number of the element click on mass number.
  9. To know the net charge of the atom click on net charge.
  10. To know the period and group of the element click on element.

Developmental Questions (What discussion questions)

  1. How many orbits are there in this atom?
  2. Name the particles present in an atom?
  3. Where is the position of the proton in the atom model?
  4. Where is the position of the neutron in the atom model?
  5. Where is the position of the electron in the atom model?
  6. Name the center of the atom?

Evaluation (Questions for assessment of the child)

  1. where is the mass of the atom situated?
  2. Mention the charge of proton and electron.?
  3. When does an atom become neutral?
  4. When does an atom become an ion?
