TIEE Head teachers program 2023-24
Objectives of the program:
- To build deeper understanding of the concepts and processes of school leadership amongst Head teachers in Government schools
- To help Head teachers experience and strengthen practices that support holistic school development
- To help Head teachers explore various digital tools and resources for strengthening school leadership and development, including through strengthening communication and collaboration with stakeholders
- To facilitate Head teachers support their teacher colleagues in implementing inclusive education approaches through the TIEE program
- To build a community of learning for sustained and continuous teacher professional development through sharing experiences, ideas and best practices
Head Teacher workshops - 2023
Workshop 1: January 13, 2024
Workshop objectives:
- To support Head Teachers explore their contexts using the SWOT framework to build deeper understanding of their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
- To help Head Teachers explore the 'Circle of Influence - Circle of Concern' framework to assess scope for proactive responses to take their institution forward.
- To identify one 'school development project' for their school which they will work to implement
- To demonstrate the ways of using spreadsheet and support using Google sheet for classroom teaching and school management

Demonstrating Spreadsheet use for different task | What and why of spreadsheet, samples use cases demo 1. Introduction to spreadsheets, navigating and interfaces. Cells (data element), rows (records), columns, adding and deleting sheets, file saving.
2. Entering your data in a spreadsheet. 3. Providing headings (columns), formatting rows and columns(Text styles, colours, cell background, and border etc,), types of data (text, numbers and their format, date and its format), working with alignment and text wrap. 4. Adding line breaks, Merging cells, auto fill(1,2,3,....), duplicating data 5. Sorting, filtering your entered data, 6. Using basic formulas - sum, count, average, percentage 7. Creating a visual representation of data 8. Exporting - pdf and image format. |
