As each phrase/sentence is read, ask each student to colour the corresponding sketch in one or two specified colours. A facilitator reads out a set of 12 phrases and simple sentences that describe six pair different outline sketches given to students in a worksheet. Each student gets a pair of different outline sketch with a crayon box. The facilitator reads out the 12 phrases/sentences which is related to the outline sketches. By listening to the phrases the students have to colour to their respective sentences given in the picture. Among all the 12 phrases, individual students gets 2 phrases each in English and Kannada.
Through this activity the facilitator can check the students' ability to listen to the words, comprehend, and associate them with corresponding images. The activity can be conducted in English and Kannada
