The 1st day of the training started around 10 AM. The class started with introduction and discussion of agenda for the second workshop. Then ICT trainer Mr Anil taught us how to make bootable pen drive from DVD and iso File. After that we learn about K3B CD/DVD burning tool.
Then there was a small tea break for 5 minutes. After the break we have learned about Remastersys from Mr Rakesh. With the help of Remastersys we have created customized iso image and backup of Edubuntu installation.
We took our lunch at 2:45 pm. After lunch we have a session on handling grub problems using live CD/DVD and make partition of the drive using Gparted Partition Editor.
Then we have a small tea break of 5 min. After the break we practice whatever we learn today.
We have successfully completed the fist day of our training. We the vocational teachers of Jorhat District Thanks all the Resource Person of the training programme.
