Objective of the workshop

  1. Possibilities of Integrating ICT in teaching and learning process.
  2. Introduce students to possibilities of blended learning using LMS platforms.
  3. Using and creating Open Educational Resources by using FOSS tools for classroom teaching.

  2. How to use it for accessing resources?
  3. How to download resources from the internet?
  4. Familiarization of browser, downloads and saving resources on your computer (Ubuntu interface)
DAY 2
Technology for connecting and learning (Internet as a learning resource)- Personal digital library First half Presentation and Hands-on
  1. Demo of resource folders created (folder structure, organizing) to create a personal digital library (PDL). File and folder naming
  2. About Open educational resources
  3. Importance of OER and its types
  4. Creating personal resource libraries

Bookmarks, downloading pages, downloading files (videos, photos),

Checking for OER to download, non OER for direct reading

  1. Create image resources by using different FOSS tools
  2. Create your own video, add your script by using Screencasting tools like Kazam
  3. Use different video editor tool to refine your created/OER videos
Technology for connecting and learning (Emailing and phone for connecting)

  2. Practice emailing, from computer and from mobile phone
