  • 3-Text books
  • paper
  • pencil

Prerequisites/Instructions, if any

  • Tell the students to empty their bags
  • Record all possible arrangement in paper

Process (How to do the activity)

Ask the students to arrange three text books (Kannada, English, and Hindi) in all possible different ways and note down each arrangement in a paper

Developmental Questions (What discussion questions)

  1. How many books are there to be arranged?
  2. What are those?
  3. Can we take Kannada-English and English- Kannada as two different arrangements?

Evaluation (Questions for assessment of the child)

  1. In how many different ways can 3 text books be arranged ?
  2. Draw the tree diagram of the arrangements?
