The 1st day ICT Training Programme started at 10.00 am with a formal inauguration programme leaded by Ranjini Madame of ITfC and Triksha Madame of UNICEF. Both the teachers and the trainers introduced each other to have a familiar and more interactive training session ahead. Besides, the trainer discussed the 5 days agendas throughly and sought our feedback on that however we have given our consensus to go with the existing format.
 +

 +
Finalizing the agendas and other perspectives we went for Tea and then, started the core training session with the introduction of Free and Open Source Software and Ubuntu. Although, Ubuntu, the name was not new for us however  the insights were very interesting and really felt the need of Ubuntu and then Edubuntu in our personal and professional life. We can really impart the free and open source softwares in our school and can build an effective teaching learning system.
 +

 +
Then we took our lunch and started to learn how to install Ubuntu software in our personal and school computers. In the training session itself we have installed the software in the lab computers and explored various aspects Ubuntu and its pros and cons. ITfC’s Anil helped us while installing the software and also assisted whenever required.
 +

 +
As the sun moved towards west and we reached the final session of the 1st days training programme taking a cup of tea. Trainer Rakesh and Deepu summarized the whole days programme and we have shared our doubts and concerns of the days learning. They were very optimistic and mild in their responses.
 +

 +
To conclude we note that the trainers are very resourceful and optimistic. Although it was the first day however they become our friends and again make it true that Learning becomes easy when your teacher become friend. Hope the zeal continues and we finish our training programme with prosperity and knowledge.
 +

 +
We the teachers of Dhubri district thanks all the stakeholders of this training programme.
