A total of 23 DIET faculty were a part of the workshop for 5 days. The workshop was inaugurated by Shri H. S. Ramarao, the Director of DSERT. CEMCA Director, Dr. Sanjaya Mishra, also addressed the workshop participants and spoke about the Community of Learning as an important medium for connecting teachers to each other as well as resources from other parts of the country

Over a period of five days the participants covered various web applications; free software tools and components of basic computer literacy. Educational tools such as Audacity, PhET and Record My Desktop were demonstrated. The participants were encouraged to work on their subjects of expertise and create model lessons. They incorporated various other resources such as video links, images and mind maps (Free Mind) in their lessons. Resources created by faculty were reviewed through offline discussions and e-mails. Teachers were also introduced to Wiki and the idea of collaborative resource creation. The follow up will be maintained with participants over e-mails and phone.
