Objectives of the workshop
- To get familiarised and encouraged to use a community of learning - for sharing, asking and learning
- To strengthen, build capabilities in the use of digital tools and processes
- To create resources using Geogebra for specific topics and concepts in Geogebra - theorems, graphs (linear equations), circles, basics of trigonometry
- To understand development of lessons using Geogebra
- To understand the use of Geogebra in problem solving

Problem solving teasers |
Teachers pick by lots one problem on which they will make a Geogebra file (in pairs) | 1. Participants are allotted a problem/ theorem for which they need to make a Geogebr construction.
2. Experiential exploration of how to use Geogebra for inquiry based mathematics teaching |
1.15 – 2.30 | Developing a lesson using Geogebra | 1. Identifying the key ideas in the problem/ theorem chosen
2. Exploring the misconceptions that can arise 3. Using Geogebra to build an interactive lesson that builds conceptual thinking and problem solving skills in students |
1.Use of Geogebra for using high school mathematics

1. Participants review an exemplar resource on KOER in pairs
2. Participants work to develop a lesson on the topic they have chosen 3. Development of a lesson plan that can integrate Geogebra, hands on activities, other web based resources |
2.30 – 4.00 | Technology for connecting and learning | 1. Creation of a personal digital library – for self learning and teaching learning
2. Accessing repositories for math and creating a reference folder/ document for an identified topic 3. Participating in email and mobile phone based groups |

1. Participants are able to independently work with the computer, creating and managing folders

Participants should be able to access and evaluate resources from the web for their use - able to search for different kinds of resources - be able to copy and paste links for sharing and in documents - download images, videos, pages (whenever allowed legally) and organize in folders - be able to document resources in a text document 3. Participants are able to send, receive emails, send attachments 4. Participants learn to use email and Telegram groups synergistically |
