Objectives of the workshop

1. To develop basic competencies in the use of digital tools and processes
2. To create resources for teaching learning using Geogebra
3. To access and share Geogebra based lessons for Mathematics teaching (Geometry topics for class 8, 9 and 10 first term) - Circles, Simultaneous linear equations and Arithmetic Progressions.

10.15 – 12.30	Geogebra for mathematics teaching	Demonstration of exemplar resources built for Geometry Hands-on practice by teachers on existing and created Geogebra files	Circles - Resource document for Geometry Geogebra files, activities and worksheets	Shared understanding of the relevance and possibilities from technology integration for mathematics teaching learning 1. Participants are able to: - Open a Geogebra file and play with it - Play around with the interface - Create basic sketches using Geogebra - construction of simple geometry objects, save a Geogebra file 2. Participants are able to develop a lesson plan with Geogebra (working in groups)
12.30 – 1.30	Geogebra for mathematics teaching	Getting familiar with creating sketches using Geogebra Hands-on practice by teachers on existing and created Geogebra files	Simultaneous Linear Equation - resource document for Geometry Geogebra files, activities and worksheets	Use the slider and input bar options in Geogebra and able to build animations

2.30 - 3.00	Geogebra for mathematics teaching	1. Creating resources with Geogebra 2. Sharing of Geogebra lessons/ files	Resource document for Geometry Geogebra files, activities and worksheets developed	1. Particiants explore an exemplar resource to understand how lessons can be done using Geogebra 2. Participants will have access to resources created before and during the workshop
3.00 - 3.30	Feedback and way forward	Participatory curriculum development for the block program	Indicative curriculum will be shared in the HM workshop	Discussions on teacher requirements from the block program including the curriculum for learning
