However the HRMS site was not available so hands-on was limited. HMs felt more confident to use HRMS themselves and the aim is that all HMs must process monthly pay bill themselves without any help
  3. Second session - Gurumurthy, IT for Change took session on spreadsheet using LibreOffice Calc. Maintaining the 'Student Admission Register' in a spreadsheet can reduce the effort in making reports whenever required. Also HMs and teachers can analyse student information for their own use. HMs also practised basic spreadsheet lessons on the dummy school admission register. They learnt that the spreadsheet will be very good for maintaining registers, reduce effort, improve reporting etc

Oct 21

  1. Third session -Venkatesh took session on Tux typing to make HMs comfortable with the Keyboard, HMs practised the same
  2. Venkatesh took session on Gmail. HMs practised sending with attachments, receiving mails, set their signatures. HMs logged into their school gmail ids also, this can be used for officially sharing information with others
  3. Fourth session - Ashok took session on Science activities, showed the KOER Page with science experiments and encouraged HMs to ask their science teachers to have science activities/experiments in the science labs in the schools
  4. Fifth session - Anand showed the school wiki page for GHS Dommaluru. All HMs saw their own school wiki page web sites on their mobile phones and were keen to have active school websites. Publishing school activities and programs on the school wiki will help create a better idea of the school activities and encourage admissions also. It will support communication with community also
