Objectives

  1. Build the computer literacy skills for student-teachers / ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಸಾಕ್ಷರತಾ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಮಾಡುವುದು
  2. Introducing student-teachers to different technological tools for self learning, collaborative learning and resource creation / ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಯಂ ಕಲಿಕೆ, ಸಹಯೋಗದ ಕಲಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಸಾಧನಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸುವುದು.
  3. Familiarising student-teachers with the use of educational tools in the classroom / ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ತರಗತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪರಿಚಿತಗೊಳಿಸುವುದು
  4. Develop digital literacy skills - email, internet search and downloading, freemind./ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಸಾಕ್ಷರತಾ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸುವುದು - ಇಮೇಲ್, ಅಂತರ್ಜಾಲ ಹುಡುಕಾಟ ಮತ್ತು ಡೌನ್ಲೋಡ್, ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನಾ ನಕ್ಷೆ .
  5. To understand the power of the graphics and video resource creation. /   ಗ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ವೀಡಿಯೊ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ರಚನೆಯ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥೈಸುವುದು.

Internet is my teacher, internet as a learning resource and Personal Digital Library. 11.00 – 1.00 Demonstration and hands-on - Select topic for creating PDL.

1. What is the internet?

2. Use of internet for learning, personal and professional enrichment

3. Use FOSS browsers, go through the browsers features – history bookmarks - navigating to the websites

4. Different kinds of resources – web pages, images, audio, video, info graphics; demonstrate different file formats.

5. Different web-based applications (online tools, dictionaries, translation)

7. Creating personal resource libraries – bookmarks, downloading pages, downloading files (videos, photos)

Use emails platform for peer learning, sharing and getting help. 3.30 – 4.30 Demonstration and hands-on 1. Use your email as learning and sharing platform.

3. Log in to to email inbox and practice sending e-mails

6. Saving and exporting – odt, png, html pdf etc …

2. Use different LO formating features to make document readable

6. Record changes (peer review)
