Toer animation maths science workshop day wise reports

Day 1 Report

First day of this 5 day orientation cum workshop on animation which is conducting by SSA with the help of UNICEF has been started at 11am with introduction of participants and Resource persons in the presence of Sri.Vijayarao Sir on 27th of May 2015. Sri Vijayarao sir explained about the importance of this workshop. Later RP Sri.Goutham from Shristi School of Multimedia conveyed about the training programme and he asked participants expectations regarding workshop. All participants conveyed their expectations and what they want learn to develop digital content. Later all participants asked to sit in computer lab. In the lab they introduced participants about SCRATCH application.

After lunch Sri Gowtham and Smt Lavanya introduced some tools in the SCRATCH. All the participants were enjoyed working with the sprites. Manjoosha, Aswini from Shrishti helped the participants to clarify their doubts. Yogesh and Sri Deepu Narayan from ITfC, Banglore and Pramod helped in solving some technical problems, and installation of Scratch offline tool in computers. After taking some snacks and tea, we were introduced about to sprites movements, save and share the projects. Gowtham sir explained to create a Scratch Id and how to share in the Scratch Studio by creating a project TOERWORKSHOP. After a lot of work with enjoying, Gowtham sir and Lavanya madam did a recapitulation session with participants. Thus the first day is concluded.

Day 3 Report

Workshop started at 9.30 AM with the review by Mr.Gautham of 2nd days' proceedings with each participant sharing their views individually.

Mr.Gautham introduced Inkscape and how to install it. Manjusha explained how to cut the picture and make out lines , draw, grouping and export to scratch to use in building their animations. Lavanya, manjusha , ashwini, yogesh, Deepu and Promod helped us in practicing the Ink scape.

After the lunch break Mr.Goutham explained “Broadcast and Variables”. He also explained how to make variables and how to make list of Variables and where can we use those. The team Srishti Institute of multimedia , Bangalore helped the participants in clarifying their doubts.

After Tea Break Mr.Vijay Rao sir conducted a meeting with workshop participants and instructed all Maths and Science Group Members to Complete the templates which were given them Before 10th June 2015.

After a lot of enjoyment the 3rd Day's Program is completed.

Day 4 Report

4th Day workshop started at 9.30 AM with the review by Mr.Gautham of 3rd days' proceedings with each participant sharing their feedback individually and giving tips to each participant on there animation.

Later Mr.Gautham sir introduced Remix/Share and Backpack with examples how to open from Scratch User ID. He explained some examples of previous animations to use in building their animations. Lavanya, Manjusha, Ashwini, Yogesh, Deepu and Pramod helped in practising.

After tea break Mr. Gautham and Lavanya said how to use data, make variables, make a list to create a quiz type animation programme. He cleared doubts and gave much needed examples for building our animations as usual others helped in developing our concepts.

Ranjani Madam had one google talk video session where each participant presented their animations and she gave detail review for each and valuable inputs to improve our animation.

After lunch break Mr. Goutham explained how to use operators and other scripts to make animation. Later tea break we learn on “Broadcast and Variables”. He also explained how to make variables and how to make list of Variables and where can we use those. The team Srishti Institute of multimedia , and ITfC team along with Pramod helped the participants in clarifying their doubts.

After a lot of enjoyment the 4th Day's Program is completed.
