Offline Kannada-English Dictionary

Kannada Wiktionary has more than 250 thousand words and this can be used offline using Aard Dictionary. Please follow below instructions to install Aard and use Kannada wiktionary offline.

• Download Aard dictionary from this link and install using below commands:

sudo dpkg -i aarddict_0.9.3-1_all.deb
sudo apt-get install -f

• Download Kannada wiktionary for Aard dictionary from this link and open it in Aard dictionary.

• To open the downloaded dictioary, go to Applications--> Accessories --> Aard Dictionary. Then Click on Dictionaries-->Add dictionary, then browse to your downloaded file to add the dictionary.
