• Empty bags
• Paper
• Pencil

Prerequisites/Instructions, if any

Ask the students to put 4-text books (Kannada, English, Hindi and Maths) into their empty bags.

Process (How to do the activity)

Give the instructions that they need to pick any 2-books simultaneously and record all the possible different combinations that can occur and tabulate it.

1. How many books are there in your bag?
2. How many books you are told to pick from the bag?
3. Weather Kannada-English and English-Kannada are both the same combinations?
4. What is the difference between permutation and combination
