Process

Ask students, both boys and girls to write about their aims/dreams/aspirations. Collect the responses and summarise the same. The summary is likely to show a difference in aspirations of boys and girls. Without pointing out any individual, discuss the same and its causes and encourage girls to have ambitions and dreams.

What questions can you ask

  1. Are boys and girls aspirations different? Why?
  2. Are their biological reasons for such differences? (can give examples of women who have performed well in many spheres)
  3. How do we lose both at an individual and a societal level, when girls aspire for lesser than they can

Evaluation – (questions for assessment of the child)

Are there any fields of activity - social and economic that should require difference in access to men and women? If yes, Why?
