==Teachers Communities of Learning (TCOL)==
The TCOL aims program attempts to demonstrate how technology can support the improvement of educational outcomes at a school level through a community of learning approach. The program attempts to bring together build communities at multiple levels - within the school, across different subject teachers , and across the schools in the Bengaluru South 3 block. This is the third phase of the program, working with government aided schools in a Bengaluru South 3 block together, through physical interactions supplemented and complemented by virtual interactions. The project aims program attempts to:expand and deepen the work done in the second phase TCOL from 2014-17 which had focused on government high schools.  === Objectives of the program ===
# Support teachers to interact with one another, for peer learning and mentoring, within a 'community of learning '
# Support schools and teachers to learn and adopt ICTs in a variety of ways, for both their own development as well as for use in their teaching-learning processes
# Demonstrate a model of ICT integration in teaching-learning
# Identify possibilities for systemic reforms and policy
# School-based intensive work to demonstrate and train in ICT integration in teaching-learning and administrative processes
==== Program with Government Aided Schools (2018-21) strategies ====After the completion of the three year program # Working with Government High Schools from 2014-17identified, IT interested schools for Change has begun a similar program with the Government Aided Schools in Bengaluru South 3 Blockdemonstrating school level technology integration. The aims of This will include the program arefollowing:# To teach teachers to use subject software applications for subject teaching and for creating digital TLM# To teach teachers Working with identified subjects to use generic text, image, audio and video software applications for teaching (both digital literacy and computerdemonstrate techno-assisted-learning), and for creating digital TLMpedagogies# To support teachers to implement digital literacy and subject based teaching with students # Supporting technology integration for improving learning outcomes# To establish professional learning communities (PLCs) amongst teachers, by subject, across Bengaluru South 3 schools school management and support their need-based, continuous and peer-learning based learning ==== Program Activities / processes ====administration# ITfC team will work with the department and the HMs of the schools to identify schools interested in the program over the 3 year period.# ITfC team will work with select interested schools (2, 4 and 6 in year 1, 2 and 3 respectively). ITfC faculty will help subject teachers in integrating ICT for subject teaching as a part of the regular syllabus transaction in that school, and also support digital Digital literacy classes by teachers for the students. This will be aligned to the in line with NCERT National ICT Curriculum, 2013# ITfC will design # Support the development and conduct period 1 day maintenance of ICT labs## Communicate with parents using IVRS system# Block level workshops to train for head masters, subject teachers on subject based software applications and generic applications. These workshops will be ''subject wise only'', and will be conducted on an identified day each month. ''Teachers from the schools where ICT is being integrated for subject teaching will also present their work to support peer learning in these workshops.''# ITfC team will support all interested schools to develop and maintain ICT Labs.# ITfC team will support Support teachers to create digital TLM in Kannada and in English, and upload it on the Karnataka Open Educational Resources portal, for use by all teachers.# ITfC team will support teachers to regularly communicate with parents using IVRS system
