Over a period of five days the participants covered various web applications; free software tools and components of basic computer literacy. Educational tools such as Audacity, PhET and Record My Desktop were demonstrated. The participants were encouraged to work on their subjects of expertise and create model lessons. They incorporated various other resources such as video links, images and mind maps (Free Mind) in their lessons. Resources created by faculty were reviewed through offline discussions and e-mails. Teachers were also introduced to Wiki and the idea of collaborative resource creation. The follow up will be maintained with participants over e-mails and phone. Teachers will submit completed resources on KOER after incorporating feedback received at the workshop. | Over a period of five days the participants covered various web applications; free software tools and components of basic computer literacy.
