1st Day Report

వేసవి సెలవుల్లో పెళ్లి సందళ్లతో తీరుబడిలేకపోయినాఒకేఒక్క రోజువ్యవధిలో తెలంగాణపది జిల్లాల్లోనిసాంఘిక శాస్త్ర ఉపాధ్యాయుల్లోనుండిప్రతి జిల్లానుండి ముచ్చటగా ముగ్గురేసి చొప్పున రాజధాని కేంద్రములోని మర్రి చెన్నారెడ్డి మానవ వనరుల కేంద్రానికిసమయానికి చేరుకొవడం సాంఘికశాస్త్ర ఉపాధ్హ్యాయులు కొత్త రాస్ట్రంలో తమ సత్తా చాటాలన్న తపనకు తార్కాణం.

పాత కొత్తల మేలు కలఇకగా ఉన్న ఉపాధ్యాయబ్రుందాన్ని చూసిన కోర్సు కోఆర్డినేటర్ విజయరావు గారు కడు సంతోసం తో "లేడికి లేచిందే పరుగు" అన్నట్లుగ తక్షణమే హాలూలొ సమావేశ పరిచి ద్విగుణీక్ఱుత ఉత్సాహంతో తమ సహజధోరణి అయిన చిరునవ్వులతో గలగల మాటలతో స్వాగత కార్యక్రమానికి సన్నద్దపరుస్తుండగా -తన విశాల శిరోఫలకంపై అనేక బరువు భాద్యతలతో నిత్యం ఊపిరి సలపని ఉపేందర్ రెడ్డి గారు సాంఘిక శాస్త్ర ఉపాధ్యాయులంటె తనకు గల సదభిప్రాయంతో రానేవచ్చారు.తమ స్ందేశంతో ఉపాధ్యాయులను కార్త్యోన్ముఖులను గావించారు.

ఉస్ణోగ్రథలొ బేణ్గులురు కన్న హైదరాబాదు మిన్న .అయినప్పటికి సాంఘిక శాస్త్ర ఉపాధ్యాయుల చల్లని మనసులతో చల్లపడిన శ్రీమతి రంజని గారు ఉచి. విముక్త టెక్నాలజఇ అయిన ఉబంటు గురించి వివరిసస్తు కోర్సు యొక్క ఐదు రోజుల లక్షాలను వివరిస్తు టెక్నాలజితో పెడగాజిని ముడివేసి సాంఘిక శాస్త్ర పాఠాలను ఆదునీకరించె విధానాన్ని కళ్ల్కు కట్టినట్టుగా వివరించారు.
అనంతరం scert సాంఘిక శాస్త్ర సమన్వయ కర్త పాపయ్య గారు మాట్లాడుతు విదధి నిర్వహనలొ నిబద్దతకు మారుపేరు అయిన సాంఘిక శాస్త్ర ఉపాధ్హ్యాయులు ఈ కార్యశాలను సద్వినియోగం చేసుకొవాలన్నారు. ఆ తరువాత TSSTF రాస్త్ర అద్యక్షులు రతంగపాని రెడ్డి గారు చొరవ తీసుకుని సాంఘికశాస్త్ర ఉపాధ్హ్యాయుల్లో ఉండె ఉరిమే ఉత్సాహాన్ని ప్రశంసిస్తూ టెక్నాలజిని ఉపయోగించి సబ్జెక్టును సుసంపన్నం చేయాలని పురికొల్పుతూ పరిచయ కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించారు.

అంతలో టీబ్రేకుకై పిలుపు రానేవచ్చింది.భూలోక అమ్రుత మైన తేనేటిని సేవించి తరించి మల్ళీ కార్యరంగంలోకి రాగానే శ్రీమతి రాధ గారు ఇంటర్నెట్ అంటె ఏమిటి? అనే ప్రశ్న తో ప్రారంభించి ఐదు రోజుల సెడ్యూలును తెరపై చూపుతూ చక్కని తెలుగు భాశ ను ఉపయోగిస్థూ వివరిస్థుంటె ఉపాధ్యాయబ్రుందం చర్చలో చురుకుగా పాల్గొంటు తమ యొక్క టెన్జాలజి పరిజ్నానాన్ని ఒక వైపు తెలియచేస్తూ మరొకవైపు సందేహాలను వెలిబుచ్చారు.నాగరాజు గారి వివరణలతో కొనసాగింది. .మద్యాహ్న భోజనం తరువాత మరో సెషను ప్రారంభమైంది. రతంగపాని రెడ్డి గారు ఉపాధ్యాయులను ఆరు గ్రూపులుగా విభజించారు.శ్రీమతి రంజని గారు లాబులోకి వెల్లేకంటె ముందు అవసరమైన ప్రాధమిక సమాచారాన్ని వివరిస్థుండగా తమ సందేహాల ప్రశ్నలను సందిస్థూ నివ్రుత్తి పొందుతూ వాడిగా వేడిగా చర్చ కొనసాగుతుండగా ఎప్పుడేప్పుడా అని ఏదురు చూసిన లాబులోకి ప్రవేసించే సమయం రానే వచ్చింది.రాకేశ్ గారు తెరపై ప్రదర్శన చేస్తు వివరిస్తు pertsonal data form ను ఎలా పూరించాలో వివరించారు.అంతే లాబులొ కంప్యూటర్ల ముందు కూర్చున్న ఉపాధ్యాయబ్రుందం చిట్టెలుక (అదేనండోయ్ మౌస్) ను చేత పట్టి చిటుక్కు చిటుక్కు మంటు వేగంగా తమ సమాచారాన్ని పొందుపరుస్థున్నారు..మధ్య మధ్యన సబ్మిట్ చేసారా? థాంక్స్ అని తేరపై వచ్చిందా అని సపోర్టింగ్ రిసోర్స్ పర్సన్లు బాలాజి గారు ,మహేశ్వర్ రెడ్డి గారు,లోకేశ్ గారు తదితరులు పర్యవేక్షించారు.......
శ్రీమతి రాధగారు జ్నాపకం చేసెవరకు తీ బ్రేక్ సంగతే మర్చిపోయాము.టీ త్రాగి చరించు వాడు టీచరు అన్న విశయాన్ని స్పురణకు తెచ్చుకున్న తీచర్లు ఏకాక్షర పానీయం టీతో పాటు కోడి కాని కోడి పకోడిని కూడ లాగించి కూడగట్టుకున్న ఉత్సాహంతో లాబు లోకి ప్రవేశించారు.ఆతరువాత ఇంటర్నెట్లో నుండి ఏదైనా డాటాను ఎలా download చేయాలొ దానిని ఎలా ఫైల్ చేయాలో వివరించి అందరితో చేయించారు. ఉపాధ్యాయబ్రుందం చూపిస్తున్న ఉత్సాహానికి సంతోశం వ్యక్తం చేస్తు మరుసటి రోజు నుండి డిజిటలైజ్ చేయవల్సిన పాఠాల కేటాయింపు ఎలా చేయాలో శ్రీమతి రజని గారు వివరించడంతో మొదటి రోజు కార్యక్రమం విజయవంతంగా ముగిసింది...

2nd Day Report

On the second day of the orientation and training programme,the first session started at 9.30am.The session was started with recapitulation. The resource person LOKESH sir asked the first group to present the first day's documentation report. Sri Gangi Reddy sir of Mahaboobnagar district from first group presented the report in Telugu grand language. The participants applauded the way sir presented the report.

Then R.P. RAKESH sir asked all the participants to come to the lab. He explained how to download youtube videos.He said that Google never permits its users to download youtube videos. So,we can use Mozilla Firefox instead. To download videos,we need internet connection with required speed.Then he explained how to open firefox browser,how to install add-ons,how we can get download button on youtube page etc. He also explained about different video formats like flv,mp4 etc. The R.P. sir asked all the participants to start add on installation practice.He also gave notes on installation process. All the other R.P.s were roaming among the participants and asked them if they need any help. Then there was the tea break.
After the tea break,the session was taken by the R.P. LOKESH sir. He explained how to open and practice tux typing.Then all the participants started practising tux typing.
In the next session,R.P. NAGARAJU sir explained Libre Office Writer.He explained how to open a new text file,how to type in that file,how to insert an image,how to save the file etc.He said that the text document has .odt extension and it must not be deleted while renaming it,otherwise the file can't be saved. Then there was ample practice on text files. The participants were called for lunch.
After the lunch,the practice on libre office writer continued. It continued till the snacks break.
After the break, Sri Rathanga pani Reddy sir allocated different themes to different groups. Then there was a small discussion on how to prepare resource on a theme/concept. Sri Jagannath sir said that the resources should be prepared according to the class wise and lesson wise.But RANJANI madam told that the resource must be theme wise. In a single theme,all the information should be given and that resource must be useful for all the classes.
In the next session, R.P.LOKESH sir explained how to mind map a theme/concept. With that all the participants started practice on mind mapping.
RANJANI madam explained the mind mapping with example,how to prepare chapathis.Then she gave homework for participants. She asked the participants to prepare a mind map on how you teach, what dou you want to teach, what resources you need etc. she also told to write on why we need mind mapping?
The participants were permitted to go on with practice in the lab till 6.30 in the evening.

3rd Day Report

Welcome to the First session of 4th day of our Digital content workshop. So far we have completed 3days in the workshop by learning somany things of digital content. Our yesterday's session was started with Email details given by Mr. Rakesh. He explained how to open an Email, how to check the mails and delete unwanted mails. He also explained about the importance of signature in Email and how to add a signature in for Email. Participants asked many doubts on email which were clarified by the R.Ps.
After the tea break we all went to the lab for learning about mailing. All the participants were very busy by mailing each other and adding colourful signatures to their mails. We also learnt how to delete the unwanted mails and to report spam. As we were very busy in learning Emailing we got a call for the lunch. Though we were not interested, we were forced to enter the dining hall to have our lunch.
After a tasteful lunch we all reached the class for next session. Dr.P.Yugandhar Reddy from CIET/SIET explained about NROEP (National Repository of Open Educational Resources Programme). He explained about NROEP and its main aims. He explained everything by showing a video of NROEP. NROEP is actually very useful to teachers. We all felt that we surely be the member of NROEP and enrich its efforts. He also showed us videos belonging to NROEP. After that Mr. Rakesh explained about a Template. He introduced template by showing a template on Tundra region.Then we went for evening tea break.
After the tea break as we had somany doubts on template we started discussing on it. Mrs.Rajani, from Banglore, clarified all our doubts. She had explained all the details and the intension of the Template. Mrs. Radha showed a KOER's template and explained. All of us got an idea on template. Then we went to lab to prepare our template. We started preparing our template on the basis of our topic. It was 5.30pm we were still working on it and got a call to end the session. Hardly we end the session with lot of new knowledge on digital content. Thanks to UNICEF and SSA for offering such a valuable course on digital content which can surely help the education system and enrich the Government Schools. We are also very Thankful to the R.P's for their patience in explaining everything about digital content.

4th Day Report

The fourth day session started with the greetings of IT for change resource person Mr.Venkatesh. He addressed the resource teacher trainees giving a message that mother tongue can be kept alive when it is used in advance media. He invited one of the resource teacher trainees to present the previous days report which was eloberately presented by Mr.Kanakaiah.
Thereafter Mr.Venkatesh briefed us the day's agenda. Then he explained us how to download a templete and directed us to the lab to work on the templete. Meanwhile Mr.Rajpal intervened and requested Mr.Venkatesh to show the tools for saving links. While R.P.Mr.Venkatesh tried to explain the same , R.P.Mr.Rakesh added some more information to that. He continued the session explaining the tools; Hyperlinking, formating, liberation serif , default styles and some short cut tools. Then we had a tea break.

After the tea break we started working on the templete in the lab . Meanwhile Mr.Raj pal volunteered in gathering some information regarding what's app group. The logistics incharge of the course mr.Prashanth visited each of us to collect the D.A. forms and got the attendance sheets signed. For a moment we all went on M.O. While Mr.Lokesh introduced a new tool called screen shot that enables to cut and paste any number of pictures at once. All the trainees were back on work in the lab until it was time for lunch break.

The afternoon session started with the course director Sri. Vijaya Rao sir's boosting addressal that enlightened all the trainees and rejuvenated our energy levels .

Thereafter R.P.Mr.Lokesh introduced the magnificent and the most enjoyed tool of the day that is the marble tool. All the trainees expressed their doubts and got them clarified. Wherein Sri.G.Venkatesh sir the resource teacher trainee complimented the tool as the marvellous one.
The session continued with R.P.Mr.Rakesh . He got us versed with online maps and explained how to find addresses , distances betweeen places and pictures of a particular place. By the time it was tea break.

After the tea break we were back to our templets. R.P.s Mr.Prashanth, Mr.Nagaraj , Mr.Balaji, Mr.Srinivasulu , Mr.Maheswar reddy, Mr.Pramod, Miss. Rekha went on moving around to help us instantly and patienatly.

To sum up – today's session was very rich in essence as opined by most of the resource teacher trainees which got us acquinted with such mind blowing experiences via ubuntu software. The training itself is a boon to the resource teachers to enrich our knowledge for an effective teaching learning experience.

5th Day Report

Resource Persons Present: Sri Rakesh, Sri Venkatesh and Sri Lokesh The 5th day training programme started with the same enthusiasm as of the previous 4 days. All the trainees attended in time for the morning session and sat in front of the systems and started practicing the lessons taught so far. DVDs containing the programme UBUNTU were distributed to trainees on a payment of Rs.50 Mr. Rajamallaiah of Karimnagar district reviewed the 4 days training programme claiming that the programme was successful and fruitful. The 4th day’s report was presented by Mrs. Sunitha of Medak district in a simple and systematic manner. Then, Mr.Venkatesh invited the trainees to present their work done on different topics allotted to them. Mr. Anand who is representing Khammam district came forward and presented his AV programme on the title ‘’Minerals and Mining’’. The topic covered all the prescribed items of the template like

• Conceptual mapping
• Teacher Notes
• Teaching outlines
• Objectives
• Activities
• Video link of Removable and Non-Removable resources
• Images of minerals
• Worksheet to classify Renewable and Non-Renewable resources
• Mapping Activity to locate places of minerals in the map of Telangana
• Video of coalmines from the Nizam’s period and SCCL

When comments and suggestions were invited by the RP Mr. Venkatesh, the participant Mrs.Lalitha of RR district and others suggested presenting the topic by adding other sources of contents. Mr. Venkatesh informed the trainees that if the number and size of the photos increase we have to face a difficulty in sharing the photos with others. And this can be rectified by using google Photoshop and this will be taught in the second phase of training.
After this Mr.Waheed of Medak district from group-5 presented his demo on the topic Democracy. The demonstration was within the prescribed TOER format and enriched with images and Video links on the conduction of General Elections in India.
Mr.Venkatesh suggested mentioning the copy right and the sources from where the videos and contents are taken.
Mr. Lakshman Rao of Karimnagar district came forward from group-6 and presented his topic on Panchayat. The topic is covered with the observation of pictures as an Activity. A few questions are given for discussion purpose. The photos are copied with the function ‘Screen shot’. Video links are also given. A video link from you tube containing V6 channel’s programme on ‘Gangadevipally’as an ideal village is incorporated. The trainees suggested mentioning Rural and Urban as separate themes.
Mrs. Lalitha of Ranga Reddy district presented her demo on the topic ‘Gender Equality’. She presented the topic by classifying gender equality into different categories such as at home, at school, at work and so on. Swami Vivekananda’s quotation on Gender Equality is also incorporated as an additional reading material. Videos are given to watch and write the opinions.
Mr. Mahesh of Adilabad district took his turn to present a topic on Secularism. He said he needs clarity on what is to be written under various titles. He incorporated the videos prepared by him in the demo.
After the trainees’ presentations, Mr.Lokesh explained what to mention under different titles of the Template. The participants raised doubts regarding the difference between “’Notes for Teachers”” and “’Additional Information”’ of the template. It is understood that both give the same information. The participants did not get a clear clarification on this.
The afternoon session started at 3p.m. after a meeting of the teachers of social studies forum. After the meeting Mr.Rakesh explained how to install UBUNTU step by step by showing a video. All the trainees are requested to attend the 2nd phase of training programme without fail. After the Tea break, feedback of the 5 day training programme is taken.

2nd Workshop Reports, May12-16, 2015

1st Day Report

Every morning is destiny's  way of telling us that our purpose in life is yet to be fulfilled. Good morning to one all. After a short and a sweet break of about a week we have started the second phase of workshop on Telangana open educational Resources organised by Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan and UNICEF. The resource persons are from IT for change from Bangalore, who also trained us in the last workshop.
welcome address was delivered by Mr. Venkatesh and this was followed by the doubts clarification session. Mr. Venkatesh asked the trainees to express their doubts and he noted them. The trainees had doubts on Template, i.e. notes for teachers, additional information and activities. They also wanted clarifications on google drive,marble, kgeography, power point in ubuntu and downloading attachments. Mr. Venkatesh assured the trainees that these doubts would be clarified during this workshop. He also told us about Audacity – the software that has four tools.
We then proceeded to have a sumptuous lunch. After a break of about 45 to 50 minutes we then started the afternoon session with full zeal and enthusiasm to learn more about ubuntu.
As it is strongly believed that a day without laughter is a day wasted, so Mrs. Sunitha shared a joke before the beginning of hectic session of GIMP tool by Mr. Rakesh elaborated on the benefits / uses of GIMP tool. He than moved on to teach GMIP tool i.e. how to use GIMP tool, i.e. editing the text to image, cropping the image, increasing or reducing the size of the image. He then proceeded to tell us about the saving of image edited, adding the text to it and copying and pasting it elsewhere or the placer where it ti needed. He detailed by explained by Mr. Venkatesh. Mr. Rakesh session was followed by Mr. Mahesh . He again showed us through a power point presentation on how the GMIP tool can be used. In this he briefed us about transform tools i.e. Flip horizontally, flip vertically rotate 90 degrees,rotate counter clock wise and to rotate 180 degree. He also spoke on quick mask and border color changes.
After this session we were instructed to go to lab and practice the GIMP tool using the images related to our allotted themes. All the trainees started working on GIMP with full excitement. As we worked on GIMP many doubts encountered us which were clarified by our efficient resource person. They were going around helping us to learn GIMP tool.
We then proceeded for a tea break. We came back and started practicing GIMP. Then Mr Rakesh instructed and demonstrated the way to save the created images in created images folder. We then continued to work on GIMP, practicing all that was taught. Around 5.30 in the evening we ended the day one of our workshop with the same zeal to continue today.

2nd Day Report

Morning Session

started exactly at 10.00a.m. Mrs. Hiranya of Hyderabad district representing the Group-1 presented a detailed report of 1st day’s proceedings.On the request of the participants Mr. Rakesh repeated the explanation of the usage of GIMP. Mr. Lokesh assisted him by noting the important steps on the Black Board. The teacher participants noted down the steps of various functions of GIMP. A wide discussion took place regarding GIMP. All Participants showed a great enthusiasm in learning the GIMP.

SESSION OUTCOMES: Teachers have learnt,

1. Editing the images – zooming, moving, rotating, using scale, shearing, colouring(fonts,Back ground)
2. Copying the selected part of the image
3. Moving the image to the selected corner on the worksheet
4. Typing angle and Rotating the image using tools
5. Using scale tool to adjust, resize( increase or decrease)
6. Adding a text to the image(outside or on the image)
7. Changing the colour of the fonts and background
8. Exporting the image
9. Inserting and adding multiple images to a single worksheet
10. Recording the voice over or downloaded music
11. Installation of Audacity
12. Saving the audio and video records
13. Adding tracks
14. Removing the disturbances from the record audios

AFTERNOON SESSION Resource Persons present: Mr. Venkatesh, Mr. Rakesh, Mr.Lokesh, Mr. Pramod and other Asst.Resource persons Guest visited: Mr. Vijaya Rao, Course Director,RVM(SSA)

The session started with the explanation on which Laptop should be bought. Mr. Rakesh gave a detailed explanation regarding different features to be considered while purchasing a laptop. According to him one should concentrate on three important feautures while purchasing a laptop. They are 1) Processor 2) Ram 3) Hard disc. On the instruction of Mr. Vijaya Rao a list of participants who wants to purchase laptops is prepared. Mr. Vijaya Rao assured the teachers saying that he will consult a dealer who is known to him and see that a concession is given on the purchase of laptops. Session was taken by Mr. Venkatesh and he was helped by the other resource persons.

Teachers had a practical session on systems. They practiced recording and dubbing the videos and saving the dubbed records. All the teachers are supplied with Head phones for their personal use during the training programme. The teachers are instructed to return back the Headphones to SSA at the end of the training programme. The session ended at 5.30 in the evening.

5th Day Report

The day's first session was started at 9.30 am with recapitulation of yesterday's report. R.P. VENKATESH asked the participants to start the session with a song. Sri Rajamallaiah sang a song “vadduraa neeku aakulaata”. Then Sri Subba Rao sir presented his documentation report showing on the screen.
Later,Sri Gangi Reddy of Mahaboobnagar told a story “bottle of butter and socks” regarding the problems of barter system .Then Sri Kanakaiah of Warangal presented his template. In his template “Ecosystem and Natural Resources”,he showed many video links. After the presentation, R.P. VENKATESH asked the participants for suggestions. Sri Rajamallaiah opined that Sri Kanakaiah's presentation was good and he suggested the technology knowhow should be shared with all the participants. R.P.VENKATESH explained how we should give links from other websites . He also told that for every link we give,we should give relevant description.
Later Sri Rathangapani Reddy and R.P. VENKATESH allocated the translation work of hand outs to the participants.After the tea break,the practice session using all the tools that we learned to complete a template continued till the lunch time.
Soon after the lunch was over, every one was ready for the group photo . When it was over, all the participants were given feed back forms to fill . At the end of the session, there was the closing ceremony . The chief guest for the Programme was Sri Reddy Prakash,UNICEF Coordinator for TS&AP. Other guests attended the Programme were Sri Vijaya Rao, the course director and Sri Papaiah,Professor,SCERT,TS. Sri Vijaya Rao said that all the participants should complete their templates assigned using the tools in the given time and congratulated unicef for assisting SSA,TS with this programme. He said that, that was the first time SSA, UNICEF and SCERT working together on a workshop. He acknowledged that without UNICEF,the programme would not be there. Sri Reddy Prakash said that Telangana government is marching towards development by permitting this kind of programme boldly but AP govt is lagging behind in doing so. He asked the participants their view on this programme. Sri Rathangapani said that the programme helped us a lot . In the first phase of this training,there was a doubt whether we could succeed or not. But after the second phase, we got confidence. He requested unicef officials to give training on animations also. He thanked various officials for conducting this programme. Sri Rajamallaiah said that we should change ourselves first in order to change the society better. This programme helped us to change ourselves to make our teaching effective. Sri Kanakaiah requested the officials to provide projectors to all the high schools in the state. Some participants asked for training on communication skills in English.Sri Papaiah advised all the participants to achieve the target in stipulated time using different multimedia tools. The session was over and all were dispersed .

3rd Workshop Reports, June 6-10 2015

1st Day Report

Good morning to all.

After spending about 20 days in relaxed manner we came back enthusiastically to learn more about edubuntu. The third phase of training was started by Mr, Rathangapani. He extended a hearty welcome to all the participants and thee faculty. In his welcome address he laid stres on preparation of the digital content for the students and teachers. He informed participants that we should finish preparing the allotted topics within two days. He inspired and motivated the teachers to prepare enriched digital content that is short and sweet so that teachers would really find it as an aid to use in the teaching learning process.

The welcome address was followed by a lecture on resource collection. This was delivered by Mr. Venkatesh. He told that the three types of resources i.e. text,images and videos could be used and prepared in two ways i.e. Online and Offline. He later preceeded to dicuss on Online resources collection. The text is stored in drive can be retrieved with links and not attachments. Images on line can be prepared using Google photos and Online videos can be prepared on youtube. Mr. Vinkatesh also brieved us about the agenda of the third phase of the training . Hi informed s that first two days would be given for preparation of digital cintent and third fourth day we would have individual presentation. For this, the faculty from SCERT,RMSA and the director of the ITFC, Bangalore would be present. The last session of the training would be for doubts clarifications on hat was taught in all the these sessions. He later discussed about google drive and thunder bird. Thunder bird is an application that's easy to seet up and customise. It maintains the replica of user mail box file. Later the paricipnts practiced on telugu interface for about 20 mmis. We then moved on to have our lunch.

After the lunch break Mr. Deepu Narayan and Mr. Venkatesh had taken a class on using google drive. Thedata on the google drive is stored on cloud. Each gmail user can use 15gb of space on drive. We have google sheets and google forms on google drive. On google drive the user can allow the viwers even to edit the data. Mr. venkatesh explained the way to preare question papers.

After the theoritical session we went to the lab and practiced to upload a file on google drive. We even framed question papers and shared it with others. We could even see the responses for the framed question papers. Later we worked for sometim on the alloted topics.

This is how the first day of the third session went on.

2nd Day Report

After the breakfast all the trainees took part in the preparation of Template from 9.00a.m. to 11.30a.m. Their doubts are cleared by the trainers. The trainees broke for Tea at 11.30a.m. The Resource Person Mr. Pramod taught Office Impress, Slide share and clarified the doubts. He taught about ODP of Ubuntu as a substitution for PPT of Windows. R.P. Mr. Venkatesh wrote all the important points of workshop on the b.b.. He also explained about Text Resource, Audio-Resource, Image Resource and Video Resource. All the teachers practiced Slide Share from 12.30 to 1.00p.m. They retired for lunch at 1.00p.m. when the lunch tokens were distributed by Mr. Prashanth. After the lunch the trainees practiced Slide share and Office Impress till 3.30p.m. All R.Ps helped the trainees to practice in a proper manner.

Tea break is given at 3.30 p.m. After having delicious snacks the trainees occupied their seats in the lab and completed their Templates on the prescribed lessons. They practiced till 6.00 p.m. in the evening. After the lab work of 4th day's training programme, the teachers took part in a discussion on the writing of a teacher training module conducted by Mr. Rathangapani Reddy. The 4th day's programme closed at 6.40 in the evening.

3rd Day Report

The third day session started with welcome addressing note of Sri U Anand Kumar. He briefed the agenda of the day. He expressed his grief oon the demise of Sri Dasari Rangacharya, a great scholar and communist leader. Later, Sri Rajamallaiah Sir added some information on Sri Dasarathi Rangacharya and hi scontribution to the world of literature. The group mourned on his memory an ddispersed to the lab to work on the templates.

The afternoon session started with an inspiring address by Sri Guru Murthy on the role of teacher and an urge to update. The session continued with Sri Mahesh's sir presentation and a long discussion went on where in Sri Reddy Prakadh Sir intervened and clarified the doubts of the peer teachers. Sri Guru Murthy had given the feedback suggesting to stress on the concept rather than the content, thereafter, Mr Raj Pal sir, Mrs Sujatha, Mr Srinivas and Mr Ravi Kumar gave their presentations one after the other.

4th Day Report

Welcome to the fifth day of the third spell of Digital content workshop on Social studies text books. We are at the end of the workshop ready with completed Templates enthusiastically waiting to present them. Before the presentation of templates let us have a look on yesterday's report.

Yesterday's session was started with the lab work finalising the templates. Every participant was busy with completing the templates. They were adding their voices to the videos and giving hyper links and rewriting the objectives. Then we got a call from RP's for tea break at 11.00 clock. We had a short tea and snacks break. Then we directly entered the hall for presentations with anxiety. Guru sir from ITFC was also present in the class to observe the presentations. The first presentation was started with Bhujangarao, with the topic art and artists started his presentation. It was a well prepared presentation with good to show to the students. Then there was a big discussion on Concept and content. Guru sir told concepts should be given more importance in the templates. After that Sunitha presented her template on Technology in agriculture. She got more appreciations from the participants. Then we went for the lunch at 1.30pm.

After the lunch presentations were started again. The after lunch participation was started with Sadanandam's presentation on Disaster management. It was also well prepared and got the appraisal from all the participants. Rajamallaiah and Subbarao presented their templates. They were excellent in preparation and presentation. Then we went for tea break at 4.00 O' clock. After the tea break the presentations were continued. At 5.00pm class on Spread sheet, calc was started. Deepu and Prashanth expalined about calc. Guru sir also took initiative to explain about spread sheet on how to link the different sheets to get the same results, making formulas. The session was ended learning about the spread sheet. We were very much happy for our successful presentations and enriching our knowledge on digital content.

5th Day Report

తెలంగాణ ఓపెన్ సోర్స్ విద్యా వనరుల శిక్షణా కార్యక్రమం మూడవ విడత కార్యక్రమంలోని చివరి రోజైన 10-06-2015 న ఉదయం సెషన్ 9.30 గంటలకు ప్రారంభమైంది. ఎస్.సి.ఇ.ఆర్.టి ప్రొఫెసర్ శ్రీ పాపయ్య గారు శిక్షణార్ధులనుద్దేశించి మాట్లాడుతూ ఏ రోజు కా రోజు శిక్షణా కార్యక్రమ నివేదిక ను సమర్పించాలన్నారు. అలాగే, ఇంతకు మునుపు శిక్షణ రెండవ విడత లో ఇచ్చిన హాండవుట్ అనువాదపు పని కూడా పూర్తి చేయాలన్నారు. శిక్షణార్ధులు ఎంపిక చేసుకున్న టెంప్లేట్ ను త్వరగా పూర్తి చేసి సమర్పించాలన్నారు. ఆ తరువాత శిక్షణార్ధులకు మరో టెంప్లేట్ ను ఎంపిక చేసుకునే అవకాశం కల్పించారు.

ఇంతలో శిక్షణా కార్యక్రమ సమన్వయ కర్త , శ్రీ విజయా రావు గారు విచ్చేశారు. వీరికి శిక్షకులు స్వాగతం పలికారు. శ్రీ విజయా రావు గారు మాట్లాడుతూ ఈ శిక్షణా కార్యక్రమం మిగతా శిక్షణల వంటిది కాదని, తప్పని సరిగా అందరూ సరైన ప్రావీణ్యత పొంది, ఇతరులకు శిక్షణ ఇచ్చే విధంగా తయారు కావాలని ఉద్భోధించారు. శిక్షకుల నుండి సలహాలు పొందుతూ తగిన విధంగా తమ తమ టెంప్లేట్ లను పూర్తి చేసి సమర్పించాలన్నారు. ఏయే శిక్షణార్ధుల టెంప్లేట్ లు ఎంత వరకు వచ్చాయో శిక్షకుల నుండి అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు. ఇది ఇలా కొనసాగుతుండగా,శ్రీ ఉపేందర్ రెడ్డి గారు కార్యక్రమ దర్శనార్ధం ఏతెంచారు. వారు తమ సందేశాన్నిస్తూ కొన్ని సందేహాల్ని వెలిబుచ్చారు. శిక్షణార్ధులు ఈ శిక్షణ పూర్తయ్యాక జిల్లా స్థాయిలో ఉపాధ్యాయులకు శిక్షణ ఇవ్వగలరా?, వీరు తయారు చేస్తున్న విద్యా వనరులు అన్ని తరగతులకు చేస్తున్నారా? ఎప్పటి వరకు అన్ని తరగతులకు మనం విద్యా వనరులు వెబ్ సైట్ ద్వారా అందించగలం? అని ప్రశ్నించారు. శ్రీ విజయా రావు గారు సమాధానమిస్తూ కొద్ది మంది మాత్రం పూర్తి స్థాయిలో ప్రావీణ్యం సంపాదించి జిల్లా స్థాయిలో శిక్షణ ఇచ్చే విధంగా తయారయ్యారని తెలిపారు. విద్యా వనరులను ప్రస్తుతం ఆరు,ఏడు,ఎనిమిది తరగతులకు తయారు చేస్తున్నారని తెలిపారు. వీరు త్వరలోనే అన్ని తరగతుల భావనలను విభజించి గ్రూపులుగా ఏర్పడి తయారు చేస్తారని చెప్పారు. శ్రీ ఉపేందర్ రెడ్డి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ శిక్షణ లో సరైన ప్రదర్శన ప్రతిస్పందన చూపని శిక్షణార్ధులను తొలగించి వారి స్థానంలో వేరే వాళ్లను తీసుకోవాలని సూచించారు. శ్రీ ఉపేందర్ రెడ్డి గారు శిక్షణార్ధుల నుండి వారు తయారు చేసిన టెంప్లేట్ ను ఒక దానిని ప్రదర్శించాలని కోరడంతో ఆదిలాబాద్ కు చెందిన శిక్షణార్ధి శ్రీ మహేశ్ గారు తమ టెంప్లేట్ ను ప్రదర్శించారు. ఆ టెంప్లేట్ ను చూసి శ్రీ ఉపేందర్ రెడ్డి గారు స్పందిస్తూ టెంప్లేట్ దాదాపు మన లెస్సన్ ప్లాన్ ను పోలి ఉందని అన్నారు. ఈ విధంగా ఉంటే ఉపాధ్యాయులు ఆసక్తి చూపరని చెబుతూ కొన్ని మార్పులు సూచించారు. తరువాత శ్రీ ఉపేందర్ రెడ్డి గారు కార్యక్రమం నుండి నిష్క్రమించారు.

ఇంతలో మరో శిక్షకుడు శ్రీ ప్రశాంత్ గారు అందరికీ తేనీరు సిద్ధంగా ఉందని తెలియ జేయటంతో అందరూ తేనీటి విరామం తీసుకున్నారు.

తేనీటి విరామం పూర్తయిన పిదప శ్రీ ఉపేందర్ రెడ్డి గారి సూచనలననుసరించి శ్రీ విజయా రావు గారు, శ్రీ పాపయ్య గారు శిక్షకుల సహాయంతో శిక్షణార్ధులను ఐదు గ్రూపులుగా విభజించి వాటికి ఐదుగురు లీడర్లను ఎంపిక చేయడం జరిగింది. వీరు తమ గ్రూపు లోని సహ శిక్షణార్ధులకు సహాయం అందిస్తూ వారి టెంప్లేట్స్ పూర్తి అయ్యే విధంగా సహకరించాలని కోరడం జరిగింది. అలాగే శ్రీ పాపయ్య గారు రెండవ టెంప్లేట్ కొరకు కొత్త నమూనా ను సూచించడం జరిగింది. తరువాత, శ్రీ ప్రశాంత్ గారు అందరినీ భోజనానికి పిలవడంతో అందరూ వెళ్లి శడ్రసోపేతమైన భోజనాన్ని కడుపారా ఆరగించారు. భోజన విరామం అనంతరం గ్రూప్ ఫోటోకోసం అందరూ వెళ్లి తిరిగి రావడం జరిగింది. శిక్షకుడు శ్రీ నాగరాజు గారు స్టెల్లేరియం సాఫ్ట్ వేర్ ను ఎలా ఉపయోగించాలో సవివరంగా తెలిపారు.ఈ సాఫ్ట్ వేర్ ను ఉపయోగించి సౌర కుటుంబం, నక్షత్ర మండలాలు, విశ్వం, గ్రహణాలు మొదలైన ద్రుగ్విషయాలు ఏ విధంగా పిల్లలకు చూపిస్తూ వివరించవచ్చో తెలిపారు. శిక్షకుడు శ్రీ వెంకటేశ్ గారు సాఫ్ట్ వేర్ సెంటర్ నుండి ఏ విధంగా సాఫ్ట్ వేర్ లను ఇన్ స్టాల్ చేసుకోవచ్చో వివరించారు.

తరువాత, శిక్షకులు శ్రీ శ్రీనివాస్ గారు మరియు శ్రీ వెంకటేశ్ గారు లిబర్ ఆఫీస్ కాల్క్ కు సంబంధించి శిక్షణార్ధుల సందేహాలను తీర్చారు. తేనీటి విరామం అనంతరం వెంకటేశ్ గారు శిక్షణార్ధులందరూ ఫీడ్ బాక్ ఫారం నింపమని , తమ టెంప్లేట్ లను మెయిల్ చేయమనడంతో అందరూ ఆ పనిని పూర్తి గావించారు.
