Students can in teams collect information about the different modes of transport and the advantages, and disadvantages of each.How these modes complement and supplement one another can be discussed. Subsequently a discussion can be organised in a seminar or a debate format.
What questions can you ask
- Does a country need all modes of transport?
- When will a country not be able to have all modes of transport (hint - land locked countries such as Afghanistan)
- Which mode is costlier? why?
- Which mode is cheaper?Why?
- Which modes are quick and which are slow?
