We must appreciate your aim to make open software popular among teachers and peoples. After watching your concern about open software, I have decided to use open software only. I know that Preparation for Computer exam and syllabus started long back, our teachers must know effort made by IT for change. Otherwise many of them will loose their interest in open software so I requested change of syllabus. I came to know about edubuntu a year back and downloaded it from web. But I could not able to learn myself. But after stf training I am better now. At this junction, I would like to join my hands with you. I can give technical support to all the teachers of our taluk and to the school having ict phase I and ict phase II. Dear sir I have taken a wonderful six days CALC trainig in DIET Chikmagalur. Resource persons taught everyone with practical demonstration. It is easy to understand all the trainings. We learnt so many applycations in edubuntu operating system like Kannada typing,Project based learning,video downloading, many more science applications etc. Overall it was a wonderful experience . I am thankful to you who, not only made me buy a LAPTOP, but also persuaded me to enter into wonderful world of digital world.Now have realised how important &useful a laptop is esp.for teachers.It plays a vital role in changing our attitude towards teaching learning process. A laptop is a friendly & faithful companion.
