Every morning is destiny's  way of telling us that our purpose in life is yet to be fulfilled. Good morning to one all.

After a short and a sweet break of about a week we have started the second phase of workshop on Telangana open educational Resources organised by Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan and UNICEF. The resource persons are from IT for change from Bangalore, who also trained us in the last workshop.<br>

welcome address was delivered by Mr. Venkatesh and this was followed by the doubts clarification session. Mr. Venkatesh asked the trainees to express their doubts and he noted them. The trainees had doubts on Template, i.e. notes for teachers, additional information and activities. They also wanted clarifications on google drive,marble, kgeography, power point in ubuntu and downloading attachments. Mr. Venkatesh assured the trainees that these doubts would be clarified during this workshop. He also told us    about Audacity – the software that has four tools.<br>

We then proceeded to have a sumptuous lunch. After a break of about 45 to 50 minutes we then started the afternoon session with full zeal and enthusiasm to learn more about ubuntu.<br>

As it is strongly believed that a day without laughter is a day wasted, so Mrs. Sunitha shared a joke before the beginning of hectic session of GIMP tool by Mr. Rakesh elaborated on the benefits / uses of GIMP tool. He than moved on to teach GMIP tool i.e. how to use GIMP tool, i.e. editing the text to image, cropping the image, increasing or reducing the size of the image. He then proceeded  to tell us about the saving of image edited, adding the text to it and copying and pasting it elsewhere or the placer where it ti needed. He detailed by explained by Mr. Venkatesh.

Mr. Rakesh session was followed by Mr. Mahesh . He again showed us through a power point presentation on how the GMIP tool can be used. In this he briefed us about transform tools i.e. Flip horizontally, flip vertically rotate 90 degrees,rotate counter clock wise and to rotate 180 degree. He also spoke on quick mask and border color changes.<br>

After this session we were instructed to go to lab and practice the GIMP tool using the images related to our allotted themes. All the trainees started working on GIMP with full excitement. As we worked on GIMP many doubts encountered us which were clarified by our efficient resource person. They were going around helping us to learn GIMP tool.<br>

We then proceeded for a tea break. We came back and started practicing GIMP. Then Mr Rakesh instructed  and demonstrated the way to save the created images in created images folder. We then continued to work on GIMP, practicing all that was taught. Around 5.30  in the evening we ended the day one of our workshop with the same zeal to continue today.<br>
