Kannada Wiktionary has more than 250 thousand words and this can be used offline using Aard Dictionary. Please follow below instructions to install Aard and use Kannada wiktionary offline.
- Download Aard dictionary from this link and install using below commands:
sudo dpkg -i aarddict_0.9.3-1_all.deb
sudo apt-get install -f
- Download Kannada wiktionary for Aard dictionary from this link and open it in Aard dictionary.
- To open the downloaded dictioary, go to Applications--> Accessories --> Aard Dictionary. Then Click on Dictionaries-->Add dictionary, then browse to your downloaded file to add the dictionary.
