Objectives of the camp

  • Encourage students to develop an interest in science through hands-on activities and experiments.
  • Promote teamwork and communication skills by engaging students in group activities.
  • Enhance students' understanding of basic scientific concepts, fostering a foundation for further learning in STEM fields.

Process

The Science Camp for class 6th and 7th students is designed to provide an interactive learning experience based on their science syllabus. Students will be grouped into teams of 4 to 5 members, mixing both 6th and 7th graders, with one facilitator assigned to each group.

The camp will feature various stations, each dedicated to specific science concepts selected for demonstration and hands-on activities.

At each station, students will engage in hands-on practice with materials, watch demonstrations, and explore concepts through digital resources such as videos and simulations.

Worksheets will be provided to each student to record their observations and interpretations throughout the activities. The students will rotate through the stations, visiting each one in their groups.

At the end of the camp, the students will have a chance to share their experiences, discuss what they learned, and reflect on their feelings about the activities.
