Workshop Report
1st day report
The workshop began with a brief introduction to Subject_Teacher_Forum by Guru and he then explained the workshop agenda to participants and took their feedback. Ranjani madam explain Ubuntu software and KOER as a Teacher Resource. Teachers to Learn and Share our ideas and explain the necessity of an STF.
In the afternoon, teachers learnt about Internet access and how to download different kind of resources and create their own 'personal digital libraries'.
Some teachers did not have email ids, their email ids were created and they joined the mathssciencestf email forum.
2nd day report
- Morning session was started by Ranjani madam with the interesting software in UBUNTU that is GEOGEBRA.
- Sri.Arvind continued and explained to how to work on Geogebra. he explained all the tools one by one with examples. After explaining, all the teachers prepared their own Geogebra files. For examples Types of angles, triangles, circles, poligones and tangents.
- In the afternoon session Sri Guru sir explained about creating gmail id and explained about how to compose and attach the files and replying and deleting the mails from the inbox.
3rd day report
- The third day stf training started at 9.30am by Sri Manjunath Assistant Director of DSERT Bangalore by welcome the trainees to the training and gave some informations regarding the training..
- Then the session was started by Mr.Ashok on mind map. He gave a detailed information about the mind map by demonstrating it like how to make mind map,how to format it,edit it, how to organise it and so on.
- By the time tea was ready all the trainees take tea and ready to refresh the next session.
- In the next session Ms.Sneha gave an activity based on bisectors to the trainees and she demonstrated the class on quadrilaterals of 9th standard mathematics test books based on Geogebra.
- After this session we had a lunch break.G
- Afternoon first session was started by Ms. Ranjani who gave a detailed information about KOER, which involved how to start up with KOER, why KOER came into existence. Ms.Ranjani insisted that KOER is for the teacher,by the teacher,of the teacher which means the information available in the KOER can be edited, used.
- After this session,every team was given some topics to go through it on the koer and were instructed to add extra content if required and also she told us to upload an activity to the concerned topic.
- To this all the trainees began to go over koer and uploaded some of the activities to the concerned topics.
4th day report
- In the campus of DIET, Banglore the workshop of stf mathematics continued with the first session by Mr. Aravind. He demonstrate us that how to plot a graphs on the concept of Quadratic Equatioins. Every trinees learn the method of ploting graphs themselves by solving various problems by graphical method.
- After a tea break work continued, by that time Mr. Rakesh the trainer taken a theory class on the UBUNTU software. He discuss with the trainees by giving more information about the tools that can be used in the Ubuntu software. Trainees had a lot of questions on the applications of various tools in the Ubuntu software and got the clarifications. Mr.Rakesh give more informations about the applications of each tool.
- Even after the lunch the discussion went on between the trainees about Ubuntu software tool . At the time Mr. Praveen did some activities on origami. He showed how to make dodeca hedran in origami method. It seemed to be good activity to give for a students.
- The next session was taken by trainer Mrs. Ranjani and she thought us about the work to be done in KOER and gave some instructions which has to be done in the next day.
5th day report
- The 5th day STF MRP training was started at 9.30 am. All participants were exploring the KOER website.
- After tea break, Ranjani Madam had explained KOER in detail and asked every participants contribute atleast two activities on a particular topic to KOER
- After Lunch break, the next session was about how to create gmail accounts and how to attach files to email by Rakesh
- After tea break Arvind sir and Ashok took a session on Video Calling and demonstrated video call.
- Next session was discussed about district 5 days training agenda by Ranjani Madam.
- Next session was demonstrated about GIMP and SKYPE by Ashok Sir.
- After 5.30, JAYARAM SIR from D.S.E.R.T shared their views with participants and asked participants to make all Mathematics subject teachers from respective district as MRP. Session was completed by 6.30 P.M.

Workshop Report
Day 1 Report
Venkatesh VT, Chikkaballapur Training was commenced at 9.30am with registration participents, 1st session was start by introducing STF and its advantages in educational field by GURU IT for change. After tee break 2nd session was commenced by Ranjani, IT for change by introducing scope,need and use of internet in field of educational and allowed participents search the resources in internet. After lunch break 3rd session started by resource person Naveen from Hassan on use of geogebra in field mathematics and application of geogebra, and allowed the participent to work on geogebra and day ends at 5.30 pm by giving work on their sellected topics.
