Materials required:
- Scissors
- Instrumental box
- Papers
- Gum/Glue
Instructions for making Cube:
- Take a piece of paper (A4 sheet)
- In the centre of your paper, draw a long rectangle and divide it up into four 2 inch squares.
- Draw another square to the right of the second square from the top.
- Draw another square to the left of the second square from the top.
- After that you can see a cross with six equal sized squares and the longest part should be closest to you.
- With scissors, cut along the outside edges of the shape
- Fold the paper-Follow along the inside lines, and fold the paper
- Study the properties of a cube.

- What is a cube ?
- How many sides does a cube have ?
- Are all sides the same ?
- Point to its vertices. How many vertices does a square have ?
- Point to its edges and faces. How many are there ?
- What is the shape of each of its face ? So how many squares are there in a cube ?
- What are the properties of a cube ?
Application Question :
- List objects similar to a cube from your surroundings ?
