Project work in mathematics can be thought of as an extension of classwork and homework. The projects should be designed such that students can set up questions of inquiry, design questions, collect data, analyze, infer and present/ conclude. Some resources on projects in mathematics are listed below.
- Maths_Projects from Arvind Gupta toys - This book contains a description of over 100 mathematics projects.
- Mathematics of Planet Earth This initiative was to explore the ideas of mathematics to issues of the earth and environment was brought to India by NCERT in 2013
- Millenium Mathematics Project - This is an University of Cambridge initiative with extensive resources.
