ಮಾಸ್ಟರ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ೩೪ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತರಭೇತಿಯನ್ನು ಅಂತರ್ಜಾಲದಿಂದ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಬೆಕು Karnataka Open Educational Resources. ಮತ್ತೆ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು ಮೈಂಡಮ್ಯಾಪ ನ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಂಶೊಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಬದಲಾಯಿಸುವದರ ತರಭೇತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುವದು. ತರಗತಿ ಕೋಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀಯೊಜಿಬ್ರಾ ತಂತ್ರಾಂಶವನ್ನು ಬಳಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡುವದು.

Focus areas for the Mathematics District Cascade Workshops

The STF programme will work with ICT Phase 3 school teachers and the focus of this year's MATHS STF District workshops will be to:

1. Build the computer literacy skills for teachers
2. How to use the internet as a learning resource - to create a resource library for my use and for the classroom
3. Build digital resource libraries
4. Use emails, MathsScience Subject Mailing Forum to communicate
5. Access the Karnataka Open Educational Resources and Contribute
   1. Understanding how the resources are organized on KOER and share feedback and activities
6. Develop digital literacy skills - email, internet search and downloading, using image editor and text editor
7. Learning to use Geogebra for creating simulations in Algebra and Geometry

Activities BEFORE the workshop

1. The DIET/ CTE Nodal Officer and RP should read the ICT Lab readiness checklist and ensure ICT Lab is in full working condition
   1. Since STF-KOER requires Interent, ensure Internet availability, with minimum 4 Mbps connection
   2. Enough computers to allow 1:1 computer:teacher ratio.
   3. The training labs should have the NEW Ubuntu version 14.04 installed on them
   4. To allow for adequate practice, the batch size should be kept to 20-25 based on number of working computers. The number of teachers to be trained and number of batches needed is available [ here.]

Resource person checklist

During the workshop, the resource persons are expected to transact the proposed agenda with modifications as needed.

The participants must complete the following activities:

1. Creation of email IDs and add them to the Cascade Training Group for email practice
2. Creation of a meta document for organizing their own resource library and share the links and descriptions of such resources to the forum
3. Familiarization with the KOER resource website and identifying resources to be added
4. Submission of one activity to KOER
5. Updating district training details on the district pages here
6. Uploading workshop photographs on Picasa
7. On Day 5, addition to the maths science forum
8. On Day 5, Participant Feedback Form is to be filled by participants
