Workshop objectives
- Understanding challenges to English language learning, including owing to misconceptions of teachers and pedagogical errors
- Understanding the role of storytelling in language learning
- Strengthening teachers' abilities to use digital resources for addressing the academic needs in the classrooms.
- Demonstrating integration of digital technologies to make classroom an effective learning space for all children.
- Enabling teachers to experience and internalize technology integration as a coherent learning experience
- Building a 'community of learning' amongst South 3 block HPS English language teachers for continuous professional development through sharing and peer learning
