Basic Information
HTF MRP workshop has been conducted at state level to create MRPs. Important information to conduct the district cascade workshop is available in this document, in separate sheets for following:

Click on district in table below to see progress of the Head Teacher Forum district workshops
Master resource persons from these 6 districts will be trained on the use of digital ICTs for educational leadership and school development. They will learn Internet for accessing resource libraries, including Karnataka Open Educational Resources.
Focus areas for the HTF District Cascade Workshops
The HTF programme will work with head teachers and the focus of this year's HTF District workshops will be to:
- Build the digital literacy skills for head teachers
- How to use the internet as a learning resource - to create a resource library for my use and for the classroom
- Build digital resource libraries
- Use emails, Head Teachers Mailing Forum to communicate
- Access the Karnataka Open Educational Resources and Contribute
- Understanding how the resources are organized on KOER and share feedback and activities
- Develop digital literacy skills - email, internet search and downloading, using text editor and on-line documents
- Discuss school leadership and school development issues - collate resources from the Internet and KOER and practise self-learning and peer learning
Activities to be completed BEFORE the STF workshop
The DIET Nodal Officer and RP should read Guidelines for STF 2014-15 and ensure the ICT Lab is in full working condition
- Since STF requires Internet, ensure Internet availability, with minimum 4 MBPS connection
- The lab should have enough computers to allow 1:1 computer:teacher ratio.
- To allow for adequate practice, the batch size should be kept to 20-25 based on number of working computers.
- The training labs should have the NEW Ubuntu version 14.04 installed on them
- DIET nodal officer should become familiar with the HTF mailing groups and KOER
Activities DURING the workshop

- DIET Nodal Officer to enter Batch information on Day 1 of workshop

Resource person checklist
During the workshop, the resource persons are expected to transact the proposed agenda with modifications as needed. The participants must complete the following activities:
- Creation of email IDs and add them to the Cascade Training Group for email practice
- Creation of a document for organizing their own resource library and share the links and descriptions of such resources to the forum
- Familiarization with the KOER resource website and identifying resources to be added
- Submission of one activity to KOER
- On Day 5, Participant Feedback Form is to be filled by participants
- On Day 5, addition to the HTF and relevant Subject forum
- Updating district pages - Workshop day wise report, uploading photographs on Picasa
